Adam Searan is quickly becoming a must watch artist on the country scene with radio stations and the industry supporting his debut, Last. The song, which captured the grand prize win in the John Lennon International Songwriting Contest Country Category, is available on CDX volume 620.

“This Nashvillian won the John Lennon International Songwriting Contest’s grand prize in the country division with this ringing, stirring, upbeat anthem about questing for answers in an uncertain world. I can certainly hear why. It is immensely melodic and effortlessly hooky. The bonuses are that he sings it like a bird, and the production is a mini masterpiece. Essential listening,” says Robert K. Oermann of Music Row Magazine.

Last, co-written by Searan and Jon D’Agostino, is featured on Adam’s self-titled EP, which was released last fall. Adam is no stranger to success on the music scene as his songs have been featured in the following television programs: Cold Case, Miami Ink, All My Children, One Life to Live and American Weed. He has been profiled on/in the following: CMA Close Up, Nashville Scene, Nashville Music Guide, Country Music Tattle Tale, The Daily Country, WGGC (Bowling Green, KY), WBKO – ABC TV (Bowling Green, KY), WNKY-NBC TV (Bowling Green, KY), WMGQ (Somerset, NJ), K-BULL 93 (Salt Lake City, UT), WKHX (Atlanta, GA) & WHIS (Bluefield, WV). This Nashville native has no qualms about fighting for a spot on the charts as he’s a pro at music competitions—semi-finalist in Unsigned Only 2015 & a competitor in Cumulus’ NASH Next.

Within the industry, Demolition Music Publishing also recently added Adam to its roster. “Adam, with his distinctive look, style and sound, has created a brand that is unique in contemporary country music,” says Jon D’Agostino, co-writer and President of Demolition Music Publishing. “With his passionate lyrics and uplifting melodies, he puts his signature on every song and is sure to become a staple in any great music collection.”

About Adam Searan

At age 11, Adam began experimenting musically with simple songs that were rooted in his faith and helped him overcome great challenges in life. Inspired by the sounds of the hit British rock band Oasis and fueled by a vast variety of other contemporary story-telling artists such as John Prine, David Gray, the Counting Crows, Keith Urban and others, Adam has grown into a solid musician and reflective songwriter. Fresh new melodic direction and the avoidance of clichés are just two of his greatest strengths as a writer.
