Billboard Sounds Off On The Stickers:

The Stickers are enjoying the most successful year of their career in 2014. Made up of three brothers from Western Pennsylvania, The Stickers started off the year with a glowing review from Billboard. And then made their New York debut with their first Arena show paired up with Country Superstar and Dancing With The Stars Champion Kellie Pickler. The Stickers were a featured act on the 2014 CMA Festival in Nashville for the 3rd consecutive year. During the event, they performed to capacity crowds including live performances at the Country Music Hall Of Fame stage and on the Fan Fair floor which was broadcast on the AT&T UVerse system and will be placed on demand. The Stickers have been drawing impressive crowds in the north east including record attendances in Pittsburgh, Johnstown, Ohio, Maryland, and more.
The band has proven to be a commercial asset as well. The Stickers inked a major sponsorship agreement with Mike’s Hard Lemonade to be the premier product promotion of the summer. The first single off the album is called Country Proud. It is climbing up the charts. It will be featured on CDX Volume 599 with the band on the front cover. Additional supporting Stations continue to join the Country Proud movement!
In their hometown of Pittsburgh PA, The single has garnered over 80% of the vote to capture the number one spot each time it is included in CBS station WDSY Y108’s Top 6 at 6. They have captured over a half dozen number one slots (reference GM Mark Anderosn WDSY Y108).
The Froggy Keymarket Cluster stations in Western PA, Ohio & WV have added the single to their regular rotation (reference PD Dave Anthony or GM Mike Vennare).
The Stickers released their highly anticipated new record called Country Proud on the week of the 4th of July holiday to a record breaking crowd at the Allegheny County South Park Amphitheater in their hometown. They have spent the past year and a half writing and recording in Nashville TN with some of country music’s top talents. The record is produced by Nashville veteran Tony Castle whose resume includes Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson and many others. The band received input from grammy award winner, Blake Chancey to prepare them for the studio. The record was recorded at Disgraceland Studios and Blackbird Studios. The Stickers welcomed several Nashville insiders into the process including Tom Bukovac (formerly with Rascal Flatts), Sarah Buxton (singer/songwriter), Kenny Greenberg (lead guitar player Kenny Chesney), and others. The Western PA connections ran strong through the project that includes songs by writer Dave Pahanish from Western PA and writer of several #1 songs. Writer Luke Laird, a grammy award winning song writer who has penned over 14 #1 hits, also from Western PA and recently worked on Kacey Musgraves award winning record. Plus behind the scenes help from several Nashville insiders, many with Western PA roots. The band continues to rack up an impressive list of accolades!
