It’s…..October? Seriously? But, take a walk outside, and you can feel it in the air. You can also tell it with the amount of superstar releases that are coming out this quarter – combined with football season heating up – Alabama doing well, Ohio State…well…(Sorry, Joe Kelly! Couldn’t resist!), and despite a first game that had some early buzzards flying around Dallas – even Tony Romo and the Cowboys are doing ok….But, it’s early yet. However, CDX 605 is pretty much stocked all the way around with some pretty amazing material – including a pair of singles from two newcomers that will capture your attention……

The Jewel of CDX 605 belongs to Eric Paslay, who releases his best single yet with the stark sound of “She Don’t Love You,” which is, without a doubt, the best record he has released yet. A vocal for the ages, for sure!

Other top moments on CDX 605 include….

Jon Pardi’s “What I’ve Been Drinkin” – This record just bounces off the airwaves with a vibrant personality. True, there are a lot of songs out there that reference drinking, but the sing-along quality of this one puts him in the leader’s position.

Garth Brooks “People Loving People” – Is it “Friends In Low Places” or “What She’s Doin’ Now?” No. But, what this single does is showthat Brooks can be relevant to today’s sounds and times. This message is one that we need, and has always been close to Brooks’ heart, going back to “We Shall Be Free.” Can’t wait to hear what Brooks has up his sleeve on his November 11 release!

And, the “Hidden Gem” of CDX 605 belongs to Georgia songstress Erica Nicole, who rolls out one of the most musically potent releases of her young career with “It’s Comin’ Down,” You don’t want to get in her way when his woman gets upset, though with her confident swagger, it might be fun to watch. Here’s betting this records takes her to the next level!

To quote Porky Pig, “That’s All Folks,” for now…Happy Fall everyone, hopefully this season will last a while!
