You know his name from a lengthy string of hits he has penned for many Country acts – most notably George Strait. However, Dean Dillon has shone in the musical spotlight a few times on his own as an artist. He enjoyed a few hits in the 1980s with the late Gary Stewart, and also released some music on the Capitol and Atlantic labels, such as “Friday Night’s Woman” from CDX 4. Wonder if he ever pitched this one to Strait?
