It’s rare that a song fails to top the charts, is re-released, and then goes to the top. It happened in 1986, when Randy Travis hit # 1 with “On The Other Hand,” less than a year after missing the top-50 with the song. The same happened to RCA’s Chris Young with “Voices.” Originally released in 2008, the song only made it to #37, however two years later, it was a different story, as the song became his third straight number one – and a good one, at that.
