Cole Swindell knows his father is smiling down at him right now, as he celebrates his third chart-topping hit with “You Should Be Here.” The CDX Nashville Volume 627 track was written by Swindell and Ashley Gorley as a tribute to Swindell’s late father, Keith. Touching lives and reaching radio waves, the song will serve as the track off Swindell’s forthcoming album of the same name (May 6).

Swindell heard the news of the song hitting No. 1 when he was backstage at Nashville’s legendary Grand Ole Opry. He told Billboard:

Finding out that you have the No. 1 song in the country while backstage at the Grand Ole Opry is the coolest feeling in the world. This song is so special to me, and hearing fans’ stories and the way country radio has embraced it is amazing. I’m a lucky guy, and I know my dad is smiling down right now.

“You Should Be Here” can be downloaded at the CDX Download Center now.

Congratulations to Cole Swindell, Ashley Gorley, and the entire Warner team on another hit song!
