Keith Urban‘s “Break On Me” from his upcoming album ripCORD (and CDX Nashville Volume 625) recently placed the man from down under at the top of the charts. By reaching Number 1 status, Keith achieved both a career high and a place in history.
“Break On Me” is Keith’s nineteenth Number 1 hit, according to the Billboard All-Time Country Airplay Chart. This makes Keith the Number 8 artist historically, edging out Garth Brooks. The song also gave Keith his twentieth Number 1 track and his fourth consecutive chart-topper on the Aircheck/Mediabase Country Chart.
In discussing the recent success of his releases, Keith explained:
