About Paul Thorn

Born in Tupelo, Mississippi, raised among the same spirits (and some of the actual people) who nurtured the young Elvis generations before, Thorn has rambled down back roads and jumped out of airplanes, worked for years in a furniture factory and battled four-time world champion boxer Robert Duran on national television before making the transition to recording artist. His artist career has found him opening for Bonnie Raitt, Mark Knopfler and John Prine among many others, and making some of the most emotionally restless yet fully accessible music our time. Paul’s recently had multiple Billboard Top 100 album debuts, numerous chart-topping albums on the Americana Radio Chart (his most recent, “Too Blessed To Be Stressed” stayed in the Top 5 for over 15 weeks) and reviews in/on NPR’s Weekend Edition, Rolling Stone Country, USA Today, the New Yorker, CMT Edge, Bob Edwards Show and other high profile newspapers.
