MACY MARTIN’S “BACK TO REALITY” DEBUTS ON GAC

Several Major Networks Show Support Of Artist’s Sophomore Single, Video

Just a month after releasing single Back to Reality to radio, and two weeks after the video for the single debuted on Roughstock.com, several major networks have jumped on board to support Kent Wells Productions artist Macy Martin – including Great American Country (GAC), who debuted the video Friday, March 13.
The video has also been picked up by CMT Mobile and ZUUS Country, along with several other regional network shows.
“I grew up watching GAC and CMT – so having their support means the world,” said Martin. “I feel like the Back to Reality single and music video is so positive and uplifting – a great message for the younger generation. Hopefully those that see the video on one of the participating networks will be encouraged and inspired like I have been by some of my favorite artists.”

About Macy Martin:
“Women in Texas can spend the day saddling horses and, in a short time, transform themselves into true southern bells, dressing in evening gowns, pearls and stilettos to attend an event or gala,” laughs Texas native and country recording artist Macy Martin. This playful description of her fellow female Texans no-doubt applies to Martin as well – especially where it pertains to her voice. Her pure, angelic tone and perfectly controlled vibrato pairs with an energy and power sure to turn heads and hearts. With a flexibility and unparalleled ability to transcend genres, she’s ready to take on Music Row. After years performing at venues, fairs, festivals and events (Miss Texas Organization, Ronald McDonald House, Texas Children’s Hospital, Special Olympics) local to her College Station, Texas home, Martin caught the attention of producer Kent Wells (Dolly Parton) of Kent Wells Productions. In 2014, she released her first self-titled EP, as well as first single You With Me, which made it to #57 on the Music Row Country Breakout chart. Despite a schedule that has her traveling the country to promote her music, Martin remains true to what drives her as an artist – her faith and giving back to others. Founded when she was just nine, she works regularly with her non-profit, Macy’s Toy Box, which collects new and gently used toys for underprivileged children.
