Country artist and former Navy SEAL, Pete Scobell, has been drafted to the lineup for Kid Rock’s Chillin’ the Most Cruise. The Norwegian Pearl cruise ship is set to sail to Jamaica March 10-14th for an adventure that will surely ROCK.
Scobell has music engrained in his DNA, as his mother, who passed away when he was only ten months old, was a music teacher who left behind her musical instruments. Scobell explained that he learned to play those instruments in an effort “to feel closer to her.”
Though his path wasn’t always certain, it was deliberate, and Scobell made sure he experienced many ups, downs, twists, and turns in life. Not only was Scobell a Navy SEAL, but he was also a competitive skier and athlete, learning several important life lessons all along the way.
Now, Scobell has returned to his roots, releasing his new album, Walkin a Wire, which has found its way on to the iTunes and Billboard Country Albums chart. Boasting an impressive front line of writers, including Dierks Bentley, Travis Meadows, and Rodney Clawson, the title track is also swiftly climbing the MusicRow chart, landing at Number 50 most recently.
Prior to sailing off into the blue, Scobell also opened for Wynonna Judd on her Stories and Song Tour, and the legendary headliner of the tour even lent her vocals to Walkin a Wire on “Hearts I Leave Behind”; a track that rose to Number 1 on the iTunes Country chart on the date of its release.
Kid Rock’s Chillin’ the Most Cruise is presented by Sixthman, a company that has organized events at sea including Gronk’s Party Ship, Impractical Jokers Cruise, and Walker Stalker Cruise. For more information on their lineup of festivals and events, go to www.Sixthman.net.
