The Academy of Country Music Awards (“ACM Awards“) announced today the Special Awards, Studio Recording Awards, and Songwriter of the Year Award winners for the 51ST ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS™. Honorees and winners will be celebrated during the 10th ANNUAL ACM HONORS™, an evening dedicated to recognizing the special honorees and off-camera category winners from the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards. The event will take place in the fall at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.
This year’s Special Award honorees include Glen Campbell (Career Achievement Award), Crystal Gayle (Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award), Eddie Rabbitt (Poet’s Award, awarded posthumously), Tanya Tucker (Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award), Carrie Underwood (ACM Lifting Lives Gary Haber Award), Keith Urban (Mae Boren Axton Award), Jeff Walker (Jim Reeves International Award, awarded posthumously), Jimmy Webb (Poet’s Award), Little Big Town (Crystal Milestone Award), and The Statler Brothers (Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award).
The 51st ACM Awards, co-hosted by Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley, will be broadcast live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday, April 3 at 8:00PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
