2016 Marks Legendary Southern Rock Group’s 45th Year of Touring
There’s no riding off into the sunset for these cowboys.  The Marshall Tucker Band (MTB) is back on the trail with fresh horses.  Tthe iconic southern rock group announced the first leg of concert dates for the 2016 Long Hard Ride Tour.  The title of the new tour is a throwback to the band’s 1976 studio album of the same name.
This year marks 45 years of touring for the legendary Marshall Tucker Band.
“I look back at it all now and just think, ‘wow,'” says The Marshall Tucker Band lead singer Doug Gray.  “We’ve been doing this for 45 years and every year I get more excited about getting back out there to start a new tour.  We wouldn’t still be here if not for all the fans, young and old, who keep coming to see us every night.  We love you all… here’s to this year’s Long Hard Ride!”
The tour kicks off this week in Alexandria, VA with upcoming stops in Hartford, Las Vegas, Charleston, San Antonio, New York City and more.  Many additional tour dates will be announced soon.
