NASHVILLE, TN (June 16, 2015) – Country band, LiveWire, has been nominated as “New Duo/Band/Group of the Year” at the 2015 Texas Regional Radio Music Awards show (TRRMA). The ceremony will be held in the Magnolia Ballroom at the Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, OK. on Saturday, July 11.

LiveWire is slotted for a featured performance on the awards show, where they will showcase their 2014 Top 10 Texas/Red Dirt hit, “Drivin’ You Outta My Mind.” They are also scheduled to play the awards show after party at Gilley’s.

LiveWire is currently riding high on the success of their latest Way Out West Records single, “Quit You,” which sits at #9 this week on the Texas Regional Radio Report, #13 on the Texas Music Chart, and #62 on the national MusicRow chart.

“This nomination is a career milestone for us,” states LiveWire lead singer and principal songwriter, Andy Eutsler. “We are grateful for our management, label and promotions teams – and the support given to us by radio and our fans. We have worked really hard for this, and we are honored to be recognized along with our fellow nominees.”

The momentum of back-to-back chart hits has propelled the group to national and international prominence, with accolades from Billboard, Roughstock, Rawhide and Velvet, and MusicRow, among many other media outlets. In addition to the accolades from the Texas/Red Dirt music scene, LiveWire has maintained a steady presence at mainstream Country radio, with consistent Top 40 showings on the MusicRow Country Breakout chart, and has gained strong airplay for their singles and music videos across Europe.

Shortly after the TRRMA show, LiveWire will embark on their first international outing, with a headlining appearance on July 24 at the Country Festival Rendez-Vous in Craponne-Sur-Arzon, France. That performance will be followed by an acoustic show in London, England on July 25.

LiveWire features lead singer/acoustic guitarist, Eutsler; lead guitarist/harmony vocalist, Bobby DeGonia; fiddle/harmony vocalist, Cory Shultz; drummer, Brad Allen and bassist, Ryan Allen. They are joined in the studio and onstage by pedal steel guitarist, Scott Kwapiszeski.

Edgy, honest and passionate, LiveWire’s unique sound blends elements of working man’s Country and rootsy Southern Rock.  The band’s music has found success at Country radio, both in the U.S. and in Europe, and its videos have received airplay on CMT Pure, ZUUS Country, The Nashville Network and Yallwire.  Major media outlets including Billboard, the Texas Music Chart, Maverick and MusicRowmagazine have all touted LiveWire’s talents.  Since forming in the mid-’90s, the group’s reputation as a top-shelf live act has been honed by years of opening for, and performing on the same bill with, Toby Keith, LeAnn Rimes, Mark Chesnutt, Kix Brooks and Texas/Red Dirt artists Cody Canada and The Departed, Brandon Jenkins, Casey Donahew Band, Kyle Park and Bo Phillips, among many others. The sextet has performed across America and on the hallowed stage of The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville as national finalists in the 2009 Colgate Country Showdown.  LiveWire released a self-titled EP in 2011 which included its debut radio hit single, “Tater Fed.”  After signing with Way Out West Records, LiveWire released a video for “Tater Fed” and a single and video of “Miracle Of The Human Spirit,” which benefited the group’s storm-ravaged hometown of Joplin, Mo., struck by an EF-5 tornado in the spring of 2011.  LiveWire released its debut album LIVIN’on Way Out West in late 2012.  The critically-acclaimed album produced the hit singles “Lies” and “Whiskey Sunday.” The group followed with two additional hit singles, “Drivin’ You Outta My Mind” and “Quit You.”

Way Out West Records is an independent record label helmed by music industry veteran, Clif Doyal, and maintains offices in Nashville and Oklahoma.  Since its founding in 2008, Way Out West has placed singles by LiveWire and Shawna Russell on the Texas music charts, MusicRowBillboard “New and Active” and European Hotdisc charts.  For more information, click here: www.wayoutwestrecords.net.
